The exercise NEMESIS 2014 took place in the wider maritime area of offshore installations within Cyprus EEZ, 10 April 2014. Organised by the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Cyprus. The objective of the exercise was to promote personnel, assets, readiness and capabilities for effective response in SAR and oil spill response missions at regional level in the Eastern Mediterranean, with special consideration given to accidents from oil exploitation platforms.
